Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation to report to PLM
  • CDL REQUIRED CLASS A, tanker endorsement is a plus
  • Physically fit to perform job labor functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) as a pre-screen requirement
  • Previous construction or physical job experience preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively and work in stressful situations
  • Ability to listen and take direction from others.
  • Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions.
  • Report defects, accidents or violations.

Job Summary:

CDL DRIVER CLASS A/Laborer will be responsible for hauling aggregate (stone), clay, dirt, concrete or asphalt from job site to job-site or material source to job- site location. Must be willing to do on the site labor.  PLM would consider part or full-time drivers.
